Fax Machine Compatibility

Fax devices are support through the cloud based PBX. Please contact Olafe to configure an appropriate ATA for the number of fax lines required.

Fax Machine Configurations

If you're fax machine is experiencing blurry pages, mid call fax drops, or complete fax failure, you may need to adjust the configuration of the fax machine. SuperG3 fax machines (also known as High Speed Fax or 33.6 kbps Fax) are known to not function properly over VoIP networks.

Please disable the SuperG3 fax protocol on your fax machine, and confirm that the fax machine is set to transmit and receive faxes at 14.4 kbps.

If the fax machine speed cannot me reconfigured, it may not be supportable over VoIP.
