You can use use this guide to change the name on an extension for new employee. It is important to rest the line so that previous employees no longer have access to the phone system.
- Login to the Phone Management System
- Click on the Users menu
- Find the Extension you would like to reset
- Click on the extension menu option
- Click on Reset line option
- Type in the new name you would like to have
- Deselect the option to remove the phone from any existing ring groups, unless you woulke to perform this action
- Click Apply
- Click Confirm
- The line will now reset, and you will be presented with the new setting
- Copy settings to forward them to the new employee
- Click OK to close the menu
